Our Story

C1 Media was founded in 2008 by Sam Atkins FRSA who has successfully worked in all areas of the media from theatre, TV to radio and print. 

After establishing the acclaimed BBC Parachutes Project (media education programme), Sam established C1 Media Ltd.

During the first year, C1 Media successfully managed the BBC Me & Movie Project scoring an impressive three films in the top 10 for the Children's BAFTA Award.

In partnership with Paradigm Arts, Sam was co-creator of the highly respected The Young Journalist Academy (celebrating its 12 year anniversary in 2020!).
